Search Mobile Safari for a Specific Word

How many of you know that you can search for a particular word in the webpage loaded in safari on your iPhone/iPod/iPad ?

Most of them might say "No", because i was one of them before.

Because, the solution is kind of hidden from the user's direct view.

It could save you even hours when you come across a situation where the webpage is too long and you just want to know about a specific topic, so that you can skip everything and just jump to the section you wanted.

Here's the trick to find a specific word in the webpage :

Let's say i am on "saru2020.blogspot.com" (This is not too lengthy yet).

But, still we need to take an effort to find an article that we are searching for.

Let's say you want to see only the articles related to "iOS7", then definitely that is a huge task which consumes time.
Instead, we can just search with the keyword "iOS7".

That is what exactly we're gonna do now.

Now, go and tap the address bar at the top of the webpage (You need scroll up to bring the address bar).
Type in the keyword that you are searching for, in this webpage.
Here we are searching with the keyword "iOS7", hence type "iOS7" into the address bar like this :

First of all you'll be given with a list of search suggestions from google,
but if you look at the bottom of the list, you'll find a section called "On This Page",
where there will be an option as "Find (Your Keyword)", here it is "Find ios7".

Tap on it, you'll be navigated to the section where the keyword is listed :

And you'll see the keyword highlighted in yellow.

Not just that, but also a bar will be displayed at the bottom of the webpage, where it will provide items/buttons to navigates you through the other matches of the given keyword in a webpage.

So, by tapping the '>' button in the bottom bar will take you to the next match of the given keyword and you can view all the matches of that particular word in a webpage by this simple search mechanism.

Tapping on "Done" cancels the search view.

Enjoy Searching!!!
